What is Enable Selling? Why do I need to do so?

As per SEBI Mandate, you will be required to authorize your transaction via CDSL TPIN or NSDL MPIN on their website before you can sell your stocks from your holdings.

Using Authorize Now button from the Holdings tab, you will be redirected to CDSL or NSDL page to complete your authorization.

After you click on I know my tpin or Regenerate Tpin , you will be redirected to the CDSL website & if you have an NSDL account you will be required to complete your authorization using MPIN which can be generated through the NSDL website.

Note: Authorisation is valid for a day.
