Dematerialization (Demat) is the process of converting physical share certificates into electronic form and holding them in a Demat account. This eliminates the risks associated with physical certificates, such as loss, theft, damage, or forgery, and makes holding and transferring securities more convenient.
Need to submit a duly filled & signed Demat Request Form by account holder(s) along with the original share certificate to the below-mentioned address:

Note 1: The dematerialization of share charges is calculated as below:
Per certificate, Rs.15 + postal charges Rs.40 per request.
The dematerialization process usually takes 30 days, subject to verification and approval by the issuer company and the RTA.
Note 2: Shares held in joint names can also be dematerialized, provided the names and sequence of holders in the Demat account match those mentioned on the physical share certificates. Upon successful dematerialization, the shares will be credited and reflected in your Demat account holdings.
