What does each KRA status imply?

What does each KRA status imply?

Below are different KRA statuses and actions to be taken for each status.

  1. KYC Validated - KYC is registered successfully with the KRA agency. You can enter transactions in either stocks or mutual funds.
  2. KYC Registered - KYC is registered successfully with the KRA Agency. The account will be activated within 72 hours of registering the KYC.
  3. Under process - The status is displayed when the KYC is updated with the KRA agency, and it is under process at the KRA's end. It takes up to 5 days for the KYC status to be updated.
  4. On hold or rejected - This status is displayed when KYC details are updated with the incorrect information and supporting documents. IIFL Capital Services Limited will send the required documents to the KRA to get the KYC status rectified. If any additional documents are required, the client would be emailed with the details about the required documents. It can take up to 10 working days for a change in the KYC status.
