What are the market timings?

Exchange trading takes place on all days of the week (except Saturdays and Sundays and exchange holidays).

Equity Cash and F&O:
Pre-open Session: 09:00 hrs. and 09:08 hrs. for order entry and modification.
Pre-open order matching: Immediately after pre-open session till 
Regular trading session: 09:15 - 15:30 hrs.
Post Market trading session: 15.40 hrs. and 16.00 hrs.

Currency:
Regular trading session: 09:00 - 17:00 hrs.

Commodity:
Regular trading session: 09:00 - 23:30 hrs (Upto 23:55 hrs. on account of daylight savings typically between every November and March of the following year).
