Client is having debit in his account and want to close account. Please provide closure process.
We would like to inform you that it is mandatory to clear the debit balance in client's account before applying for account closure.
We request you to ask client to clear the same and then mark the mail to
cs@iifl.com by mentioning his Login id and Demat Account number thereby asking us to close the same as there are no holdings in his accounts.
On receipt of the request we shall send client a re-confirmation mail, he need to reply to the same once again mentioning his Trading code and DP account number.
We shall proceed with closing formalities post receipt of the same. Any credit balance present in your Trading account shall be transferred to his linked bank upon closure.
