Investors can visit the MF portfolio section on the app or website, and initiate redemption/switch from the selected scheme(s). Investors should note that redemptions would entail capital gain/loss and would attract income tax as per prevailing laws at the time. Few mutual funds also have exit load applicable (certain deductions if units are redeemed during the exit load period). Hence, investors should be mindful of these impacts while initiating redemptions.
