CDSL Easiest – Share Transfer Process (Simple End-to-End)

If you want to transfer shares from one CDSL Demat account to another, follow these steps:  

Step 1: Register for CDSL Easi 

  1. Visit the CDSL Easi portal. 
  2. Enter your 16-digit BO ID (Demat Account Number). 
  3. Complete OTP verification. 
  4. Create a username and password. 

Step 2: Upgrade to CDSL Easiest 

  1. Log in to Easi. 
  2. Go to Miscellaneous → Upgrade BO ID to Easiest. 
  3. Select Trusted Account (PIN). 
  4. Accept Terms & Conditions and submit. 
  5. Enter the beneficiary (target) Demat BO ID and submit. 
  6. Wait for DP authentication/approval. 
Note: Kindly write an email from your registered email ID to cs@iiflcapital.com requesting DP authentication for your CDSL Easiest account. Please also mention your 16-digit DP ID in the email. 

Step 3: Add & Verify Beneficiary Account 

  1. Go to Transaction → BO Linking Setup. 
  2. Enter the recipient's BO ID and PAN details. 
  3. Complete email/OTP verification. 
  4. Ensure the status shows Verified. 
Note: Kindly write an email from your registered email ID to cs@iiflcapital.com requesting beneficiary for your CDSL Easiest account. Please also mention your beneficiary/targeted 16-digit DP ID in the email. 

Step 4: Transfer Shares 

  1. Login to Easiest. 
  2. Go to Transaction → Setup → Bulk Setup.
  3. Enter below details :  
  4. Execution Date 
  5. Recipient BO ID 
  6. ISIN of the share 
  7. Quantity of shares 
  8. Submit the transaction. 
  9. Authorize using the PIN/OTP as applicable. 
  10. Note the transaction number for tracking.  
Note: Kindly write an email from your registered email ID to cs@iiflcapital.com for authorize your share transfer request with your transaction ID. 

Step 5: Check Status 
  1. Go to a Transaction Inquiry. 
  2. Verify whether the transaction is Executed/Completed. 

Important Note :
  1. EASI is only for viewing account information and holdings. 
  2. EASIEST allows both viewing holdings and transferring shares online. 
  3. If you are not registered, you must first complete the registration process on the CDSL portal and get the account activated before using these facilities.
